Jap's Cabin

We recently visit my mother in Stone County during Paige's spring break. No trip is complete without a visit to my stepfather Jap's cabin, which is near their house, well within walking distance. Paige always loves going up there and the cabin itself is amazing.

The cabin is set on field stones and the walls are made of timber with morter. It has your typical corrugated metal roof that is a sure cure for insomnia when it rains!

Complete with porch swing and lots of old farm tools and implements hanging on the porch.

Jap build the stone chimney as well as all the furniture in the cabin.

Here's the stone chimney Jap built, he did it all by hand.
